What is the triWELLathon?

triWELLathon was created in 2011 as a signature event to raise funds and awareness for Wellspring Calgary, a cancer support centre that provides free programs and resources to anyone facing any kind of cancer – and those who care for them – so no one has to face cancer alone. The activities chosen for the triWELLathon are modelled after programs offered to Wellspring Calgary members: yoga, dance, tai-chi/ qigong, creative arts, and more. Some activities are “revved up” to provide challenge for triWELLathon participants who want to sweat a little more. Wellness is not about how many push ups you can do, but about body-mind-spirit balance and quality of life. At Wellspring Calgary and through the triWELLathon, we invite the public to TRI a little wellness for themselves.
